We farm Biodynamically® and organically. When we farm in these ways, we enter into a partnership with the land and all the forces operating. Our lavender is grown in a community of plants and animals. Birds and bees are in abundance. Hawks and owls patrol for gophers. Our lavender is fertilized by composts made from the manures of our goats, who in turn help with the weeding! When you use lavender grown in this way, you receive not only the energy of the plant, but the field in which it grew. The lavender's healing properties are enhanced.
