Harms Vineyards & Lavender Fields

About Harms Vineyards & Lavender Fields

We are a family owned business working to increase the bio-diversity of our ranch through a variety of plantings. All of our lavender is estate grown. Our terrain and climate here in the Napa Valley make this an ideal environment for plants native to the hot, dry summers and cool wet winters of the Mediterranean. These exquisite conditions enhance the quality of the essential oil of lavender. Most of our lavender is the lavendin cultivar Grosso, a hybrid of English lavender and spike lavender. In addition, we grow the cultivar Provence and are experimenting with Buena Vista, an English lavender. We also grow chardonnay and sangiovese grapes, which are made into Biodynamic organic wines by Sky Saddle Winery and into Sangiovese wine made with Biodynamic grapes by Graeser Winery in the Napa Valley.
